Trial Smile: Your Blueprint to a Brighter Smile & Renewed Confidence

What is a trial smile?

The world of dentistry is always evolving and it can be challenging to stay informed. We’re here to help! A service we offer to our dentists is to “wax-up” and physically plan out the intended final result of your case. This is a wonderful tool that allows the patient to see the end game and understand the transformation that will occur. We will then make a putty mold called a matrix of the final models. The dentist will use this mouthguard looking mold, fill it with temporary material, then apply it over your teeth. This is intended to simply show you the expected final result to ensure both you and the dentist are on the same page. The temporary material is just that- temporary. The dentist will painlessly chip off the plastic-like material after you’ve taken a good hard look at it, and maybe take some pictures to show your friends & family of the possibilities.

This process is crucial, in our opinion, in making sure your case progresses with ease. We are passionate about the communication between the dentist, the laboratory, and the patient too. Below we’ve included some photos and videos so you can see some of the results of the patients we’ve worked with. If you have any questions or would like some more information, please fill out your basic information below and we will get in touch ASAP.
